Classic Rock, R&B and Blues

Beginning with our foundation in classic R&B, we’ll take you on a journey through the greatest of this music from the 60’s up to present day. It starts in Memphis where lead singer Jody Thompson brings you the clarity and energy of Etta James singing “Tell Mama” yet before the end of the song Jody and the band bring you the raw power of the famous version of this classic done by Janis Joplin.

From there, we move time and place through Wilson Picket, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, and, yes, even up to more contemporary practitioners of the craft such as Susan Tedeschi, George Thorogood, and even Tom Petty. Just to make sure nobody in the house stays in their seat, the set list is rounded out with great rock and country rock hits. What ties the set list together is they all have roots in the greatest traditions of R&B.
